Spectacular Kids contracts Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) with school districts to provide consultation services regarding behavior management for elementary school students with and without a diagnosis of autism.
Consultation Services May Include:
- Classroom set-up to reduce occurrence of maladaptive behaviors
- Data collection to identify why behaviors occur
- Development of behavior protocols
- Staff training to implement behavior protocols
- A dedicated BCBA to analyze data and adjust protocols
In addition to direct classroom support, Spectacular Kids also provides general staff training on a variety of topics, including but not limited to:
- Management of Problem Behaviors in the Classroom
- How to develop effective Behavior Intervention Plans
- How to follow through with Behavior Intervention Plans
- Identifying the Functions of Maladaptive Behaviors
