    About the Position:
    The role of the Clinical Director is to oversee the therapeutic component of a particular service location. Within this role, the clinical director is responsible for oversight of the Board Certified Behavior Analysts, Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts, Registered Behavior Technicians, client programming, client behavior protocols, addressing client caregiver concerns, and any staff concerns.
    Required Qualifications:
    • Run and conduct weekly BCBA/BCaBA meetings.
    • Meet with BCBAs individually twice per month to review cases, behavior protocols, acquisition targets, and any staff or client concerns.
    • Review reports for initial and re-evaluations prior to submitting to insurance
    • Review authorization paperwork prior to submitting to insurance
    • Have extensive knowledge and maintain updated information regarding insurance requirements, codes, billing practices
    • Ensure all staff are familiar with company rules and protocols as it pertains to their role.
    • Maintain safety-care trainer certification status
    • Conduct performance reviews for BCBAs, BCaBAs with Human Resources
    • Participate in performance reviews for Scheduling Coordinator, Intake, Administrative Assistant, and Human Resources.
    • Attend conferences to maintain CEUs and to increase knowledge base in order to appropriately lead supervision staff Oversee all work of the BCBAs and BCaBAs to ensure that timelines are met and maintained, and to ensure that staff are following the policies and procedures of the company
    • Provide input for documents regarding client and staff policies and procedures
    • Conduct meetings with Intake and Business Manager/Assistant Business Manager to gain knowledge on waitlist, discuss what clients will be coming on next, and discuss required missing documents from client caregivers or BCBAs/BCaBAs
    • Conduct meetings with Business Manager and Scheduling Coordinator to ensure that any scheduling updates for clients are communicated, set plans for upcoming schedule changes (i.e. staff departures, new staff starting, client schedule changes, new clients starting, etc.)
    • Conduct weekly meetings with Business Manager/Assistant Business Manager and Human Resources to discuss staff concerns, and current staffing needs
    • Maintain client roster spreadsheets for budget by set timelines
    • Serve as a leader for the company and ensure that all staff meet the core values of the company
    • Conduct interviews as needed for direct care staff, supervisory level staff, and any applicable administrative roles
    • Propose changes in processes or other company concerns to the Chief Executive Officer
    • Supervise and/or oversee supervision of BCBA and BCaBA student residents
    • Maintain documentation for supervision students
    Skills and Abilities::
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Must be proficient in systems such as Central Reach and SharePoint utilized by the company.
    • Must be able to make quick decisions taking all effected roles into account and ensuring that decisions benefit of the company.
    • Must be able to provide clear and concise verbal and written communications.
    • Must be able to provide direct feedback to various positions within the company.
    • Must be able to multitask.
    • Must be able to provide timely follow-ups to vendors and clients.
    • Must have extensive knowledge of ABA and Spectacular Kids.
    • Must be efficient with timelines
    • Must have extensive knowledge of Spectacular Kids policies and procedures
    • Must hold direct care and supervision staff accountable for not following policies and procedures
    Physical Requirements:
    • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
    • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
    • Must be able to travel in and out of state.
    Education:
    • Minimum of a Master’s Degree
    • Board Certified Behavior Analyst
    • Licensed Behavior Analyst

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Position

     Status: Full-Time

    About the Position:
    Spectacular Kids provides clinic-based ABA services to children between the age of diagnosis through 10 years of age. We are currently seeking enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about working with children and maximizing progress! 
    Required Qualifications:
    • Master’s degree in ABA or related field
    • Certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
    • Extensive knowledge of ABA for our client base (diagnosis and age)
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills
    • Extensive knowledge of data analysis
    • Ability to conduct assessments using ABLLS or VB-MAPP
    • Extensive knowledge of client programming
    **This position is also available to those candidates currently working towards their BCBA. Supervision is provided.**
    Job Description:
    1. Conduct initial assessments for new clients and re-evaluations every 6 months.
    2. Write thorough and extensive reports summarizing results of assessments.
    3. Conduct parent meetings to review results of assessments and goals for treatment plans.
    4. Create an individualized treatment plan for clients based on results of assessments.
    5. Train and supervise direct care staff on treatment plans for each client.
    6. Review client data often, and use this knowledge to adjust programming as needed.
    7. Write monthly summary reports for client progress.
    8. Conduct functional analyses (FA) to determine functions of behavior, interpret results, and implement appropriate treatments
    9. Supervise clients directly on a weekly basis.
    10. Maintain appropriate documentation as required by insurance companies.
    11. Attend yearly conferences to continue to build knowledge of ABA principles.
    12. Maintain required continuing education units (CEUs) as required by the BACB.
    13. Maintain all ethical standards as required by the BACB.
    14. Maintain client confidentiality at all times.
    15. Determine necessary stimuli to be created or purchased for all clients.

  • Behavior Technician Position

    About the Position:
    Spectacular Kids is currently seeking Behavior Technicians! We are looking for individuals who possess a positive attitude, are motivated, and enjoy working with children to join our team. The Behavior Technicians provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy directly to children between the ages of 1 and 10 years old, who have a diagnosis of autism or a related disorder. Therapy is done on a 1:1 ratio, with each technician being assigned to a particular client throughout the day. Behavior Technicians are supervised and trained by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and training staff. Candidates do not need to have ABA experience to qualify, but must enjoy working with children. Training is provided to become a Registered Behavior Technician.
     
    Required Qualifications:
    • A minimum of High School Diploma or High School Equivalent, with some college
    • Able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
    • Team player
    • Experience working with children between the ages of 2 and 10 years
    • Punctual
    • ABA experience is a plus, but not required
     
    Job Description:
    1. Work directly 1:1 with clients
