  • Speech Language Pathologist Position

    About the Position:
    The SLP will work with clients at both SpecKids locations (one location per day) as well as speech only clients who are not current clients at SpecKids. The SLP will work closely with Board Certified Behavior Analysts and Registered Behavior Technicians to ensure that skills from speech are generalized into ABA sessions and vice versa. The SLP will conduct assessments, complete reports, and assist with appeals as necessary for insurance.
     
    Qualifications:
    • Able to work independently
    • Able to conduct assessments to determine goals and frequency of services.
    • Conduct therapy sessions with speech clients.
    • Complete required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.
    • Communicates with the Clinical Director and/or Chief Executive Officer regarding goals for current ABA clients.

    About the Position:
    Spectacular Kids is currently seeking Behavior Technicians! We are looking for individuals who possess a positive attitude, are motivated, and enjoy working with children to join our team. The Behavior Technicians provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy directly to children between the ages of 1 and 10 years old, who have a diagnosis of autism or a related disorder. Therapy is done on a 1:1 ratio, with each technician being assigned to a particular client throughout the day. Behavior Technicians are supervised and trained by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and training staff. Candidates do not need to have ABA experience to qualify, but must enjoy working with children. Training is provided to become a Registered Behavior Technician.
    Required Qualifications:
    • A minimum of High School Diploma or High School Equivalent, with some college
    • Able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
    • Team player
    • Experience working with children between the ages of 2 and 10 years
    • ABA experience is a plus, but not required
