      Dana Harris, M.A., BCBA, is the Owner and Executive Director of Spectacular Kids ABA Therapy & Consulting. Dana began providing in-home and clinic-based ABA therapy in 2001. In 2010, she received her Master’s Degree in Psychology and became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Dana followed her dream of opening a company to provide quality ABA services to children between the age of diagnosis to 10 years of age. Dana has a strong passion for helping each child reach their maximum potential, and takes pride in working very closely with families and staff to ensure seamless implementation of each child’s individualized treatment plan.

       

    • Amy Richardson

      Amy Richardson, M.A., BCBA has been working with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities for over 20 years. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from Eastern Michigan University, and obtained her Master’s Degree from the University of Houston-Clear Lake in Behavior Analysis to obtain her BCBA. Amy spent 15 years teaching special education in public schools and has had extensive experience developing and implementing ABA programs for children from the age of diagnosis to 10 years of age. Supporting children and training parents is her primary goal to ensure each child reaches their maximum potential. She has also recently had her research published in The Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis! Amy partnered with Dana Harris for the Missouri City location and is the Executive Director of that location.

       

    • Liz Fajardo

      Lead BCBA, Kingwood

      Liz Fajardo, M.A., BCBA received a certificate in Behavior Analysis from the University of Houston-Clear Lake in May, 2016 and obtained BCBA certification in August, 2016. She received her Master’s Degree in Psychology from Pepperdine University, and has been in the field of ABA since 2010. Liz is passionate about educating the community about ABA and training staff, parents, and other professionals. Liz is currently responsible for  overseeing programming and clinical documentation for all the clients in the clinic. As Lead BCBA, she provides support and guidance to Clinic Supervisors, provides supervision for individuals seeking BACB certification, and provides ongoing supervision and training for clinic staff.

       

    • Alex Penzell

      Alex Penzell, M.Ed., BCBA has been working in the special education field since 2008. She received her Master’s Degree in Education from Texas A&M, and obtained BCBA certification in August, 2015. She has extensive experience developing and implementing ABA programs for children ages 2-16; in addition, she worked as a special education teacher in the public school system. Alex’s combined knowledge of ABA and the public school system gives her a unique outlook when developing individualized goals. Alex is fluent in Spanish. Alex currently supervises direct care staff, conducts evaluations, and runs programming for her team of clients.

       

    • Anne Sawyer

      Anne Sawyer, M.Ed., BCBA has experience working with children and adolescents diagnosed with autism and other related disorders. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from Baylor University. Working in the classroom setting, she developed a passion for children diagnosed with autism and continued her education. She earned a Master’s Degree at Baylor University and obtained BCBA certification in May, 2014. Anne currently supervises direct care staff as well as those individuals pursuing a career in ABA. She also conducts assessments and writes programs to help fit the needs of each individual child.

      Leila Haralson-Coles, M.A., BCBA has worked with children and adolescence diagnosed with autism and other related disorders since 2011 in the clinic, home, and school environments. She received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Communicative Disorders from Northern Illinois University in 2012. Leila earned a Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Ball State University in 2014. Leila obtained BCBA certification in May, 2016. Leila currently completes evaluations and assessments, supervises the direct care staff, and creates programs for each client designated to her team. Leila is dedicated to determine the best interventions and providing the best possible service for each child and their family.

      Joanna Young, M.A., BCBA has been in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis since 2011. She has experience working with children ages 2-10 diagnosed with autism and related disorders. She completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Ball State University in 2014, and went on to earn a Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Ball State University in 2016. Joanna obtained BCBA certification in November, 2016. Joanna currently supervises therapists, conducts evaluations and assessments, and creates and maintains behavior programs. Joanna is passionate about providing analytic services that reflect integrity, and enjoys interacting with clients on a daily basis.

    • Amalia Gonzalez

      Intake Coordinator

      Amalia Gonzalez is in charge of the entire intake process which includes answering questions regarding our services and insurance, providing referrals for other service providers when appropriate, managing our waitlist, and helping client’s through the initial intake procedures to become a SpecKids client. Amalia has worked for the company since 2014, and started at SpecKids as a direct care therapist. She has first hand experience with all the services provided at SpecKids.

      HR Specialist

      Amanda Kelly received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and Sociology from Stephen F. Austin State University in May, 2006. She has been in the Human Resources field for the past 10 years. She has previously worked in the Oil & Gas and Real Estate Services fields as an HR professional, and was brought on board with Spectacular Kids in August, 2016. Amanda is currently responsible for recruiting for the Kingwood and Missouri City locations, benefit administration, implementing company policies and procedures, payroll management, and supporting the staff at Spectacular Kids.
