    In an effort to support our community and help spread information on various topics related to ABA, Spectacular Kids offers free community trainings that are open to the public. These trainings are held at our Kingwood and Missouri City clinics every three months on a Saturday. These trainings are designed to cater to diverse audiences such as parents, teachers, and other service providers who work with children, and cover a wide range of topics.

    FREE COMMUNITY TRAINING! 

    Join us for a presentation given by our guest speaker, Amy Wood, at our Missouri City location on Saturday, May 18th from 10:00a.m-12:00p.m. Amy is the President and Scientific Advisor at Families for Effective Autism Treatment(FEAT-Houston). She is experienced with interventions for both low functioning and high functioning individuals on the autism spectrum. This presentation will explore ways parents can help their child reach the best outcome possible from with ABA. 

    Learning Objectives Include:
    1. Identification of 4 areas which can be improved through ABA. 
    2. Three benefits of parental involvement in ABA intervention. 
    3. Identify 4 “quality of life killers” for families of children with ASD. 
    4. Three possible impacts of problem behavior on ASD families.
